The fall of Saigon 50 years ago prompted a mass exodus of Vietnamese people. Many were evacuated by the United States military and brought to America to resettle. As more people fled in the years after the war, and governments stepped in to address the humanitarian crisis, even more found themselves starting new lives in the United States. Around the country, “Little Saigons” sprouted and grew, including in Denver.
