After morning storms expecting partly cloudy skies, very warm temps with highs in the upper 80s for your Friday afternoon in central Oklahoma. As we go through the weekend NW flow in the jet stream means scattered storms possible especially late night into early morning hours. Not a washout for Father’s Day weekend but keep an eye to the sky if outdoors playing golf. Have a great weekend.

Strong straight line winds can produce power flashes at night just like tornadoes. #okwx

June NW Flow weather pattern typically produces severe storms across the plains. The main threats are large hail and damaging winds. This pattern continues until the Summer upper ridge takes hold.

Well the severe threat is over for OKC. Actually this storm complex was tamer for OKC compared to the last few storm complex’s. Looks like a nice day tomorrow. My forecast starts at 4 AM.
