The 16 runs LSU scored is their third most in a game this season. Steven Milam and Josh Pearson each hit a grand slam to bust the game wide open. The Tigers didn’t have a single hit until the fourth inning when Derek Curiel came up to bat with two runners on.

METAIRIE, La. – There are usually a plethora of changes that come with a new coaching staff. When it comes to the Saints and offensive lineman Trevor Penning, it means a change from tackle to guard. Penning said the transition has been an easy one so far. “It’s not too bad, less space than tackle. Have to have tighter footwork and faster feet. Everything is closer, but it has been going good,” Penning said. The fourth-year player believes he will have no issues making an impact at his new position.

METAIRIE, La. – The Saints have made three major changes to their offensive line. Former tackle Trevor Penning has moved to guard, Taliese Fuaga shifted back to right tackle and 2025 ninth overall pick Kelvin Banks Jr. will now play left tackle. Through all these offensive line changes, New Orleans anticipates that two-time Pro Bowl center Erik McCoy’s presence and leadership will make the transition easy.

NEW ORLEANS – Zyron Forstall quickly went from being a freshman year starter on the Jesuit defensive line to a five-star recruit. Forstall will be a junior this fall, has been grinding this spring and hasn’t even come close to reaching his ceiling. “Things are getting smoother as I progress and get older, no one is too much older than me. Feel like I am able to get around guys better. Getting a little heavier, faster and staying on the field as long as possible when needed,” Forstall said.
