1 INTRODUCTION Social media is a valuable tool for delivery of medical information to both health literate and lay audiences. In recent years, the video sharing app TikTok has experienced exponential growth, reaching 3 billion downloads by mid-2021 and becoming the most-downloaded app in 2022.
