    The Philadelphia Phillies have traded infielder Scott Kingery to the Los Angeles Angels for cash considerations. Kingery was drafted and up to this point has spent his entire professional career in the Phillies organization. Drafted out of the University of Arizona as a second-basemen, Kingery was a highly-regarded prospect. injuries derailed Kingery's career a bit, leading to a majority of his time spent in the minor leagues with Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

    TROIS-RIVIÈRES, QUEBEC - Reading dropped its second straight game on Friday night, 3-2 to Trois-Rivières. The Royals were shut out in the third period while the Lions scored in each to come away with the win. The Lions opened the scoring just over six minutes into the first period, it would take the Royals another six after that to tie things up. Emile Chouinard with the equalizer. In the second period the Lions and Royals would score less than a minute apart.

    HARRISBURG, Pa - Conrad Weiser capped off a stellar season with a 5-1 win over Kennard Dale on Thursday night. The Scouts maintaining their perfect record with a District title win. Late in the first half the Scouts trailing by one when Abu Barrie scores the equalizer on a breakaway in the 38th minute. The game would remain tied heading into the second half. At the 57 minute mark Gavin Rapp would put the Scouts ahead 2-1, and they wouldn't look back from there.

    CATASAUQUA, Pa - Catasauqua the backdrop for a pair of District XI volleyball titles on Thursday night. Southern Lehigh and Liberty bringing home District gold. In the 3A title match the Spartans knocked off Central Catholic in four sets to capture the trophy. After taking the first set the Spartans would look to double-down in the second. Abby Stankewicz helping to make that possible with the set ending kill. The Vikettes would force a fourth set.
