Kenneth Pautler, 73, is accused of shooting and killing Karen Pautler in their Fenton home. According to court documents, deputies got a call from a family member on Friday advising that Kenneth had shot his wife in the home. At 2:15 p.m., deputies met Kenneth at the door, who escorted them into the residence. They approached a bedroom and found Karen dead.

Two people were critically hurt in the crash on West Florissant and Oriole. ST. LOUIS — A car crash in north St. Louis Friday evening led to several people being trapped and seriously hurt. At around 4:30 p.m., the St. Louis Fire Department said the crash happened at West Florissant Avenue and Oriole Avenue. By 5:00 p.m., first responders had successfully extricated the trapped victims.
