An opportunity presented itself, and Caela Walker took it. Walker stepped down as Edon's head girls basketball coach after eight seasons at the helm earlier this week and accepted the head girls basketball coach job at Angola High School. Angola Athletics first announced the hire on Tuesday night. "It was just an opportunity that presented itself, and I just decided to throw my name in the ring and go for it," Walker said in a phone interview with The Bryan Times on Thursday night.
