In Betts' absence, it was two transfers who stepped up in a big way: Janiah Barker and Timea Gardiner. The junior duo scored 18 points apiece to lead UCLA in scoring. Barker notched a double-double with 12 rebounds in a season high 31 minutes, and Gardiner snapped out of a shooting slump, hitting 4 of 7 three pointers including the eventual game winner with 44 seconds remaining. During a timeout in the 3rd quarter Cori Close exhorted her team to embrace the challenge they had been wanting. Baylor was certainly testing the top-ranked Bruins, cutting a 15-point lead all the way down to five points four minutes into the second half. Challenge accepted and then some.

the biggest bombshell here is that team 4 still wanted to turn overwatch into an mmo. i don't think that's necessarily bad but it's incredibly daunting to have a single product have thriving pvp, pve, AND mmo scenes. imagine if epic halted fortnite br dev to spin off an mmo.
