    Axiom Space has announced it’s reviewing launch opportunities as early as Thursday, June 19 for the Houston-based company’s fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station (ISS). This follows a delay announced June 12 to allow NASA and the Russian space agency Roscosmos more time to investigate the effectiveness of new patches to small, but persistent, air leaks in a “transfer tunnel” on the Russian Zvezda Service Module that connects with a docking port for Soyuz spacecraft.

    A study published in the journal Nature suggests childhood exposure to a bacterial toxin is driving the increase in early-onset colorectal cancer. Certain strains of E. coli and other gut bacteria produce a genotoxin called colibactin, which damages the DNA in colon cells. Researchers believe the mutation may increase the risk of developing cancer before the age of 50.
