    Spanish meter manufacturer Hidroconta is installing more than 42,000 smart water meters in the province of Ourense in Galicia in northwestern Spain. The project, supported through Spain‘s PERTE economic recovery and transformation programme, will see the smart water meters installed in a total of 81 localities in Ourense. The rollout forms part of AquaOurense’s €13 million ($14.8 million) ‘OU-Inteligente’ programme to digitalise potable water management in the province.
