The Town of Lodi Annual Meeting was a single-issue affair this year as residents voted to support the construction of a satellite station for the Lodi Area Fire Department in Harmony Grove. Through the meeting, attending Town of Lodi Board supervisors joined other citizens in the general seating area, with an extra row of chairs brought in along with extra seating along each of the side walls, and some attendees still remaining despite standing-room only as the meeting began.

The Lodi School Board has agreed to increase staff compensation and benefits in an attempt to keep apace of the cost of living. At the board's April 14 meeting compensation recommendations were proposed for the next fiscal year. For context, District Administrator Vince Breunig explained that over the past year, there had been an increase in the Consumer Price Index of 2.95 percent.
