Timing right now looks to be between 7am-Noon on Wednesday with a more central time around 8am-10am in the Triad. WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Continental Polar high pressure will build across the Middle Atlantic and Carolinas through Tuesday night. This will set the cold air in place for our storm. Low pressure will then track across the Gulf and South Atlantic coasts Wednesday and Wednesday night. Arctic high pressure will wedge down cold air. At this time we are looking at mostly snow in the Triad along and north of I-40 with a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain more south and east.
