The growing trend around those parts was having massive cob - a mixture of clay, sand, and straw - pizza ovens.

For over a century now, many of us have been flushing it away and out of sight as soon as possible, pretending in public as though our bodies don't function like the others.

It makes sense that if you are going to grow something like a houseplant, then you should to grow an edible one, one that can provide the aesthetic greenery you're after for the house and the same lively company, as well as a homegrown treat to munch on.
