Summary Frictionless by design, Nonnas is a big-hearted, generous foodie drama that offers a stellar cast and a lot of affection, even if it doesn’t aspire to be anything beyond that. Sometimes a movie exists for no better reason than to simply mind its business, and that’s very much the vibe I get from Nonnas.

Summary Bad Influence is more generic teen erotica for Netflix, hitting the usual notes and playing to the typical audience, but it’s undermined by an extremely weak climax. There’s a very simple and obvious formula for a movie like Bad Influence, which shouldn’t be confused with Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing, a docuseries also from 2025 and also streaming on Netflix that has very different subject matter.
