MacMoray Festival organiser Andy Macdonald has said he is planning to “go nuts” when organising the event’s 2026 edition. The 41-year-old announced on Sunday evening that the festival is “going nowhere” and will be returning to Elgin’s Cooper Park next year for the sixth time. Tickets are already on sale with the event due to take place on May 2 and 3, 2026. The weekend was originally planned to be the final MacMoray - but Andy said it will return due to its success. “I’m over the moon,” he said.
