Today marks 20 years since the first ever matches were played in the rebranded EFL Championship. In the first kick-off on 7 August 2004, Leeds took on Derby County. Eighteen minutes from the end, Leeds’ Frazer Richardson had the honour of scoring the Championship’s first ever goal.
