It’s a tradition that now stretches back almost a decade. Morley scored his first all-star touchdown in 2016 as a patient ambassador for that year’s Montana East-West Shrine Game, which raises money for Shriners Children's Hospital in Spokane, Wash.

But no school is better represented in this year’s Shrine Game than the Helena Capital Bruins. “Obviously, it’s very special, being able to win a state championship and then being able to play another game with four of your teammates,” said Capital quarterback Merek Mihelish.

HELENA — Just a few weeks ago, Helena women ages 18 and up who wanted to play rugby didn’t have anywhere to turn. But that’s something Caitlyn Sena set out to change, co-founding the Capital City’s only all-adult female rugby team. “I think having spaces for people to get together with a common interest and do something that makes them feel good and makes them feel connected to the community is always really important,” said Sena. “And we were definitely lacking in the women’s rugby space.
