The New Orleans City Council used its authority to suspend Mayor LaToya Cantrell's communications director Gregory Joseph without pay. The Council's actions apparently prevent Cantrell from hiring Joseph in a different capacity.

I simply want strength of schedule to actually matter. Teams that play difficult schedules should be rewarded; teams that play JV schedules should not be rewarded. Whether that helps Alabama, Indiana, or whoever. Why is that so difficult for some people to understand?

If you still think a three-loss Alabama with losses to Vandy and Oklahoma should have gone into the playoff ahead of a one-loss Indiana you probably want the committee to introduce recruiting ratings as an evaluation metric.

A ban of the Push Tush play that the Philadelphia Eagles popularized did not receive enough votes at today’s league meeting in Minneapolis. The play remains alive. There will be more tush pushes this season. https://t.co/sy1DOIznqP
