Another trial against the former police officers charged with killing Tyre Nichols is scheduled to begin at the end of April. The end of the month marks the beginning of the state criminal trial. Nichols was pulled over and beaten for nearly three minutes by the former officers on Jan. 7, 2023. After three days in critical care, Nichols died in the hospital. Over two years later, the justice process is still in the works, with one of two criminal trials completed.
