Implications for Developing Agrivoltaic Systems Possibly favorable microclimatic conditions for the growth of vegetation created by the PV arrays, and the evidence for the erosional buffer created by the presence of vegetation imply that co-locating vegetation with PV arrays can be beneficial for PV projects in some climatic zones where conservation of the soil and their potential for biological production is a concern.
