1 Introduction In recent years, plasmonic photothermal conversion has emerged as an attractive energy transformation technique with potential use in a wide range of applications.[1-4] The effect takes advantage of localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPRs) occurring in different nanostructured substrates across the ultraviolet (UV), visible (Vis) and NIR regions of the electromagnetic spectrum.
