The use of multicore processors has been widely spreading across embedded systems, leveraging their processing capabilities to run applications on a single platform. The main weakness of these systems lays on the possible contention of resources, that are not found on monocore systems. This contention leads to alterations in the temporal behaviour of the task (Dasari et al., 2013). In hard real-time systems these new processors are also getting introduced, but are impaired by these nondeterminisms.
