SHERIDAN — The city of Sheridan’s audit of Fiscal Year 2024 financial statements revealed a few deficiencies in those statements. A majority of the Porter, Muirhead, Cornia & Howard — the Casper-based firm completing the city of Sheridan’s audit — were “material weaknesses,” which refer to a deficiency in the city’s internal controls that could or did lead to inaccuracies in its financial reports.
