    A 65-year-Decatur man was killed in single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle. Larry D. Whitlock was killed Friday evening when his 2001 Honda Rancher ATV left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Whitlock was thrown from the ATV and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Alabama State Troopers. The crash occurred on Lawrence County 362, about four miles west of Trinity, in Lawrence County.

    A Friday morning crash has claimed the life of a 59-year-old Andalusia woman and injured a 13-year-old in Covington County. Alabama State Troopers said the two-vehicle crash occurred around 10:35 a.m. at the intersection of Cantaline Bridge Road and U.S. 84, about one mile west of Babbie, in Covington County. Teresa Kirkland McIntosh, 59, was killed when the 2022 Hyundai Accent she was driving was struck by the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Randall Eugene Copeland, 65, of Andalusia.
