Our Jazz Fest Bible is printed in Macon, Georgia by the firm Panaprint. To expedite shipping, we ask the printer to mail to our subscribers a copy of the Jazz Fest Bible. We also ask that they are shipped FIRST CLASS, a more expensive option. Having the printer process the mailing increases the costs because not only do we have to pay for the postage but also for the handling, packaging the magazines and bringing them to the post office.

Singer and songwriter, Clarence "Frogman" Henry passed away, after years of declining health, on Sunday, April 7, 2024. He was 87. Frogman's song "Ain't Got No Home" was the inspiration for OffBeat Magazine's Jazz Fest Bible cover in 2006, as it reflected the situation for so many New Orleanians after HurricaneKatrina and the failure of the levees devastated the city. Henry was born in New Orleans' Seventh Ward on March 19, 1937. In 1948 his family moved to the Algiers neighborhood.
