For the last 10 years, T-Mobile has been my cell phone carrier of choice. I've been on a family plan with my partner, parents, and grandmother (with two lines for myself), and it's been a good experience for all of us. T-Mobile's coverage is reliable, 5G speeds are fast, and extra perks like weekly gas coupons and discounted streaming services have been nice cherries on top. Google Photos is, without a doubt, one of Google's best apps/services. It's my photo library app of choice, housing 10+ years of pictures, videos, and random screenshots I've collected after over a decade of use. Paired with some pretty great photo-editing tools, it's one of those Google apps I don't know what I'd do without. However, it's not the only photo library app in Google's portfolio. As many people discovered this week, Google has its very own alternative to Photos.

Android smartwatches are in a great place in 2025. From a hardware perspective, there have never been so many quality watches to choose from - with Google, Samsung, and OnePlus all offering excellent options. The software is solid, too. Wear OS 5 is Google's smartwatch operating system at its most reliable, and we should see significant upgrades soon with Wear OS 6.

If you bought a Samsung phone within the last few years, there's a very good chance you received an update to One UI 7. And if not, it should be hitting your device any minute now. Samsung started widely rolling out its update to numerous devices late last week, including the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and more. For the most part, One UI 7 is a significant upgrade over previous versions.
