This evening will be a great one to spend time outdoors with Mom! Overnight, we fall into the 50s to start our workweek. The sunshine and summer-like weather continue into early next week, with highs in the upper 80s. There will be a bit of a breeze, but it won't be too windy. If we do not hit 90 before then, Omaha likely hits the first 90 on Wednesday with a little extra wind. The day will be dry, but a few storms could pop along a cold front Wednesday night.

If you are heading outdoors for any events this evening, it should be great weather-wise! Overnight, we drop into the middle 50s, a comfortable start to our Sunday. Mother's Day will be similar to today with hot weather and sunshine, though it will be breezy. Highs reach the upper 80s, with some neighborhoods in eastern Nebraska hitting 90. The sunshine and summer-like weather continues into early next week with upper 80s for highs. There will be a bit of a breeze, but it won't be too windy.

It's another gorgeous evening for being outdoors, we temperatures drop into the 60s! Overnight, we drop into the middle 40s to start off the workweek. We get warmer Monday, into the upper 70s, with more sunshine. Tuesday makes a run at 80, but Omaha may fall just shy. There will also be a few more clouds around on Tuesday. A storm system could be spinning in the region on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing small rain chances on both days. However, many of us will stay dry.

Despite our chilly morning, our temperatures have rebounded into the upper 60s under a sunny sky. This evening should be great for any outdoor activities. We drop into the middle 40s for Sunday morning. Sunday is another warm and sunny day, with highs into the low 70s. It's another gorgeous day for being outdoors! We get warmer Monday, into the upper 70s, with more sunshine. Tuesday makes a run at 80, but Omaha may fall just shy. There will also be a few more clouds around on Tuesday.

Since 2022, Nebraska and Iowa have been at war with a drought that never seems to leave. At times, rain has the upper hand and drought retreats. Then, just as it seemed like rain was back, it would be dry again, and the drought would return. Part of the reason we never seem to escape the drought is that we have been dry for the past several years. From January 2022 to May 2025, Omaha has received about 86.6" of rainfall. Seems impressive, right?
