The United Bank for Africa (UBA) Ghana has cut the sod for the construction of a new head office at West Cantonment near the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. When completed, the eight-storey edifice with two underground parking lots is expected to be the nerve centre of the bank which set up base in Ghana almost 20 years ago and was the first Nigerian bank to expand its operations to the country.
