Netherlands manager Michael Reiziger said England's midfield made it hard for his side to control the semi-final at the Under-21 European Championships in Bratislava. England knocked the Netherlands129 out of the tournament with a 2-1 win, partially thanks to a fabulous Harvey Elliott double. Lee Carsley believes the Under-21 European Championship hasn't seen the best of Harvey Elliott yet after his side, led by the Liverpool forward, beat the Netherlands 2-1 to progress into Saturday's final. Elliott netted both of the Young Lions' goals in the semi-final victory, the second coming just four minutes from time. He now has three knockout goals in Slovakia and heads into Saturday's final looking for back-to-back titles, alongside coach Carsley and Charlie Cresswell.

In Nitra, my adopted Slovak hometown, for England’s second group game at #U21EURO against Slovenia. A good test for the Three Lions and a win will see them progress into the knockouts. https://t.co/D6el0mZvNq

It felt perfectly set up for Tomas Suslov to provide a spark for Slovakia against his adopted nation of Italy, alas the Verona playmaker and his teammates bowed out of #EUROU21 - my thoughts from a frustrated Trnava. https://t.co/pznGeWsIKA
