He won a national youth baseball title in Detroit, played at the JUCO World Series in Colorado and spent last summer playing in Canada. This week, the game is bringing him back to Texas as Flores and his Kansas State teammates will compete at the Austin regional starting Friday night. Josh Havard's email address is [email protected].

Many of the students walking the stage at Tuesday's Beth & Horace Stubblefield Learning Center graduation have heard plenty of reasons why they can't do something. On Tuesday afternoon, they showed exactly why they can as 33 students graduated and earned their high school degrees in front of a mostly packed auditorium at Angelina College's Temple Theater.

ATHENS - The Huntington High School academic year officially ended when the class of 2025 walked the stage at the United Pentecostal Campgrounds early Saturday afternoon. The Red Devils baseball team isn't finished yet. Luke Green was stellar on the mound, and Huntington struck for three second-inning runs and never looked back on the way to a 5-1 win over the Whitney Wildcats that completed a regional final sweep at Athens High School Saturday night.
