Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino scored second-half goals as we fought back from 2-0 down to claim a point away at Liverpool. After a bright start, we were rocked by two Liverpool goals within as many minutes, giving us a mountain to climb in the second half. Martinelli headed us back into it straight after the interval and Merino was on hand to score the equaliser after Alisson had kept out Martin OdegaardÔÇÖs rasping drive.

Gabriel Martinelli was named player of the match after he helped inspire our second-half comeback against Liverpool on Sunday. The Brazilian also extended his incredible record of never losing a game in which he has scored, after he sparked our fightback with a well-taken 47th-minute header. It’s now 45 matches and counting in which Gabi has netted and we’ve avoided defeat, after he grabbed our first in an eventual 2-2 draw with the champions.

Mikel Arteta was far from happy at the final whistle on Sunday, despite seeing his team fight back from 2-0 down to earn a point at Anfield. We went into the interval two goals down against the newly-crowned champions, after conceding twice within the space of two first-half minutes. And even though we fought back to extend our unbeaten league record against Liverpool to six matches, the manager said our standards in the opening 45 minutes did not reach the expected level.

We came back from two goals down to claim a point at the home of the newly-crowned champions, despite finishing the game with ten men. Liverpool had taken a 2-0 lead in the first half, with both goals coming in the space of 87 seconds. John Pope and his wife, Eliza, the 1811 Pope Villa is one of only three surviving residences designed by renowned architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe. It survived a fire in 1987, which left most of the original structure intact.

Mikel Arteta admitted that our Champions League semi-final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain has left him hurting, but he’s called on his players to bounce back even stronger. Martin Odegaard cut a dejected figure at full-time following our Champions League exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain. The skipper nearly levelled the tie on aggregate inside the opening ten minutes, but his low strike was superbly saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma – one of a string of fine saves from the giant Italian. It's not the first place you might picture a piece of public art being situated, but the more you talk to the people behind the project at the entrance to the Fayette County Detention Center, the more the meaning comes into view. "There are three large rusted steel beams that rise to mimic the gesture of arms and hands outstretched, and they cradle a nest from which arises a multicolor, abstract piece to symbolize the birth of hope," says creator, Dave Caudill.
