A British tourist has gone missing in Amsterdam after telling his friends that he had forgotten his passport as they went to fly home. Ryan Jones told his companions that he needed to go and get his travel documents before their flights on May 4, according to Dutch police. The 34-year-old walked away from his group at 2.17pm before making 'brief' telephone contact with them. He has not been heard from since.

The Right Reverend Dr Michael Volland is also a keen surfer when it comes to life away from his Church of England posting in Birmingham.
