Father Mwandi was one of 12 delegates — including seven priests, one nun and four laypeople — from Kitui who visited the archdiocese from May 13-19 to learn how the archdiocese operates and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the partnership. Father Mwandi didn’t just draw the comparison of spiritual water pouring out on the diocese, but literal water, as the archdiocese, through donations, helped bring clean water to Kitui.

In an episode of the “Practicing Catholic” radio show set to air at 9 p.m. June 6 on Relevant Radio 1330 AM, Bishop Kenney told the show’s producer Rachael McCallum, “To be able to align ourselves with God, first of all, we have to trust in the Holy Spirit, that the Holy Spirit is the one speaking to us through God, in God.’”Bishop Kenney referenced Psalm 139, that God knows us inside and God knew us before we were born. “God knows what’s going to happen in our lives,” Bishop Kenney said.
