As a person who has been writing about food for the past 25 years, I'm embarrassed to admit one thing: I don't really like fruit. Aside from peaches (which I adore), strawberries, and the occasional banana, I eat fruit out of an obligation to try and eat healthy, not in the pursuit of pleasure.
