    This past Sunday night, Bergen B’Yachad organized a meaningful Carlebach yahrzeit kumzitz in under 24 hours. It all began with a call from Daniel Zucker asking if we could put something together in memory of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach’s 30th yahrzeit. While nothing was planned, it felt like an important opportunity to bring the community together. Rabbi Carlebach was known for helping people reconnect to Judaism, Hashem and themselves, and the event was to honor his legacy.
