A rare Xbox console generously donated to us has sold for an incredible £7,700. The unique gaming console was donated to our shop in Oxford and listed for sale on our eBay site. The auction ended on Saturday night, and after 62 bids, it sold for an incredible £7700. The Pepsi Hulk Console, of which only 36 were available, was released in 2003 when halter tops were all the rage and Beyonce’s Crazy in Love was number one in the charts.

The rise of 'fast homeware' has led to one in six people changing their decor every year and millions of usable items ending up in landfill. Our One Poll survey of 2,000 adults revealed 62 per cent have thrown away homeware in good enough condition to donate to charity. The survey found that a quarter (26 per cent) of respondents also feel that homeware trends are changing at an increasingly fast pace.
