If the Philadelphia Eagles trade Dallas Goedert, they could find his replacement on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Philadelphia Eagles veteran tight end Dallas Goedert has had his name mentioned in trade rumors this offseason as he’s entering the last year of his deal. Former Chicago Bears defender DeMarcus Walker reportedly visited with the Detroit Lions last week. The Detroit Lions shockingly did not make a huge splash in the offseason to upgrade their pass rush. The Chicago Bears signed former Minnesota Vikings cornerback Nahshon Wright to a one-year deal. Most, if not all, of the top free-agent options are off the board as the 2025 NFL Draft is on the horizon. However, that hasn’t stopped the Chicago Bears from making a depth signing in the secondary on Tuesday. According to ESPN’s Courtney Cronin, the Bears signed former Minnesota Vikings cornerback Nahshon Wright to a one-year deal. The Vikings released the 27-year-old defender on Sunday.

And that continuity has paid off for St. Louis, Arlington, and Michigan in different ways to kickoff Week 1.

It’s interesting to see the teams in the UFL who have the most roster continuity and they’ve started the season. Having roster continuity in the spring is always a challenge, but having it is a good thing for the league/teams overall.
