Understanding of post–COVID-19 condition (PCC, or long COVID) in children remains limited, as studies vary in defining PCC and including limited prospective data before SARS-CoV-2 infection.1-3 The World Health Organization (WHO) defines PCC as “continuation or development of new symptoms 3 months after the initial SARS-CoV-2 infection, with symptoms lasting for at least 2 months with no other explanation.”4 Symptoms must affect everyday functioning.
