    The Erie Otters fell to the London Knights 6-3 on the road in Game One of the second round on Thursday night. The Knights dominated most of the game while the Otters hung around until the end. Erie now trails 1-0 in the series against the defending OHL champion. One of the biggest rivalry’s in sports did not disappoint. The Otters and Knights combined for three fights, 56 penalty minutes, and nine man-advantages. Erie’s Wesley Royston kicked things off in the first fighting Landon Sim.

    The Ontario Hockey League postseason continues as the 2025 J. Ross Robertson Cup Playoffs enter the second round. One of the OHL’s most exciting postseason matchups is a thrilling rivalry in the Western Conference between the one-seeded London Knights, and the fifth-seeded Erie Otters. The Knights entered the postseason as the defending OHL champions and swept the Owen Sound Attack in the first round.

    The Erie Otters fell to the Saginaw Spirit on Tuesday night. Despite Malcolm Spence’s game-tying goal with 13 seconds left in the game, the Otters would fall in overtime after Zayne Parekh’s second goal of the game silenced the crowd. Erie still leads the Round One series 2-1. Goaltender Noah Erliden had one of his best games as an Otter despite the loss. The 19-year-old kept Erie in the game all night long, holding down the fort and making some of his best saves.

    The Erie Otters defeated the Saginaw Spirit on the road 9-5 on Saturday night. An offensive outburst powered by two hat-tricks carried the Otters to another playoff win. They now leads the series 2-0 and will head back to Erie for Game Three on Tuesday night. It was a night to remember for the Erie Otters, who saw two players record hat tricks in one playoff game for the first time in team history.

    The Erie Otters exploded in the first playoff game of Round One defeating the Saginaw Spirit 8-5 on the road on Thursday. The Otters won thanks to an eight-goal second period which set the tone for the rest of the game. Erie now holds a 1-0 series lead against the Spirit. After a scoreless first, the Otters scored the game’s first two goals just nine seconds apart. Pano Fimis and Dylan Edwards would both find the back of the net.
