    How natural are you? Many folks are committed to “giving up” all chemicals. OK, I could try that. But I do wear lipstick. And I dye my hair. There, I have said it — all secrets are out — I am admitting to you, dear readers, that some of my “beauty” comes from a tube and a bottle. Guess I am not alone.     Did you file? The Internal Revenue Service is claiming that there is a “taxpayer revolt.” Sure, paying taxes can be revolting, but filing is not merely a suggestion, it is the law. And right now, many Americans are collectively breathing a sigh of relief, because “tax anxiety” is over. Evidently, there is a slowdown occurring. And I am not referring to the economy. Nope, the IRS is facing a “taxpayer slowdown,” which could result in $500 billion less in tax revenues. Why?

    We are in a recession. The data is in, and it doesn’t look promising. We are seeing more women with “recession hair,” and there is an uptick in lipstick sales. In other words, don’t bother looking at the stock market numbers, GDP or pundits huffing and puffing about tariffs and the state of our economy. Everything we need to know is visible to us: plenty of dark roots and red lips.
