The three-level home built by IDB Developments is terraced down a steeply sloping block of land that leads to parklands and a creek. The site presented many challenges and the project was far from straightforward.

For designer Greg Natale’s first project in London he reinvented his celebrated Hollywood Regency style for a client who loves prettiness and feminine details. Former Sydney clients of Greg’s and now Singapore based, Laura Hui and her husband bought this Chelsea townhouse to be their London pied-à-terre. The four-storey redbrick dwelling built in the 1950s had “good bones”, says Greg but had been stripped of any personality.
