Okay, maybe I shouldn't even say "latter-day" because Russell Crowe's entire career delights me, but over the last few years, he's welcomed a sense of goofiness that's utterly charming. For instance, his entire vibe and Italian accent in The Pope's Exorcist. Any movie where he does an accent, I'm there.

If there's been one thing that Marvel has thrived on these past few years, it's been nostalgia. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with revisiting the worlds of shows from the past. However, it can be troubling to see nostalgia fare divorced from the creators who made it in the first place.
