Hello! I am finishing up the process to start the BSN program at Nightingale College this September 2023, but am still waiting for my transfer credit evaluation. I submitted my transcripts last month and didn't expect it to take this long. I'm honestly just really excited to see where I'm going to start LOL. I have a bunch of pre-reqs done and my A.S. In general science which was 63 credits but I'm not sure which ones they'll let me transfer.

Hello nurses! I am looking into RN-BSN programs to further my nursing career. My ultimate goal is getting a Masters or Doctorate (if masters are phased out by then). How should I pick the RN-BSN programs? I know that WGU has pass/fail grading system so I know it won't boost my GPA. But are there other things I should watch out for when I look for RN-BSN programs in order to successfully apply for Masters/Doctorate in the future? Currently, I am looking at GCU, ASU, chamberlain.

Hello everyone, I live in Arizona and work in a SNF where we use non-facility properly certified NPs in addition to the one attending physician. This section below states that the resident must be seen first by the attending physician. No confusion there. In addition, the resident must be seen every 30 days for the first 90 days by the attending physician with exceptions of possibly an NP meeting those exception criteria to make those visits instead.

I have F1 status and I'm studying in a ESL school, but I'll also do CNA training, it's OK for me to do the mandatory 30 hours clinical? I do have SSN and it's not a remunerated job, it's just clinical. thanks!

I'm currently working towards completing my prerequisites. I attempted Portage Learning finding info here about it being good but from what I saw it was straight memorization and regurgitation and I was struggling. Maybe because I'm a career changer working full time but I just could not get my brain to focus and then memorize and all the short answers.

Hello, I am moving to San Diego in a few months and would like to start a nursing staff job at a hospital in November. Does anyone have any suggestions on when I should start applying? I am not sure how long the hiring process takes. I don't want to apply too early and then have them want me to start right away if I am not moved yet. If anyone has any input on UCSD hospitals, Scripps, Sharps, etc. I am not familiar with the hospitals so any insight/pros and cons of them would be helpful.
