On 30 March 1976, Israeli occupation forces in Palestine shot dead six unarmed protesters and injured hundreds more while confiscating an area of Palestinian land in the Galilee roughly the size of central London. Still commemorated annually, the atrocities have gone down in history as Land Day, and protesters across Palestine face Israeli police violence each year to ensure the dispossession is not forgotten.

The town of Majd al-Kurum lies a little inland of the city of Haifa, and only a little way south of the border with Lebanon. It is a Palestinian town with a Palestinian population, but owing to its location and the way the borders of the Israeli project in Palestine were set in 1948, it sits within the part of Palestine that the international community officially recognises as Israel, otherwise known as ‘48 Palestine.

The Israelis are attempting to intimidate the Madleen crew in international waters by circling drones above the @GazaFFlotilla vessel. All for trying to get aid and attention to Palestinians who Israelis had hoped to continue genocide against undisturbed. A project of cowards.

🚨 ⛵️ Two Drones reportedly flying around the Madleen (ex Barcarole) as it is sailing toward Gaza with @GretaThunberg , @RimaHas & many activists. 📍 Latest position 6 mins ago: https://t.co/QTnpLPHwZ3

More Israeli genocidaires evacuated after encountering Palestinian defence teams. So important to know resistance is ongoing, and for settler forces neutralised or wounded to know their memory will be held by the world and history in only infamy and shame. https://t.co/hT7no7TMV3

If you are able, please do help Shafeeq to secure food for his family in Gaza. The horrors of the US-Israeli "aid" posts and their well-documented crimes have made this all the more imperative for Palestinians in need of support.

I’m going through a really hard time right now and I don’t have enough food. Any help would be a blessing. Even a kind word could lift my spirits. If anyone can help, may God bless you. 😔🙏” https://t.co/R7537yOEYq https://t.co/7DvIUYWiBl
