2.3. Statistical AnalysisDemographic variables were analyzed using independent sample t-tests for normally distributed continuous variables or chi-square tests for categorical variables. All the following statistical procedures were performed using the dependent variables (OE, CE, RT, and VRT). Regarding the sample size, we calculated the minimum number of subjects that would be necessary to find clinically significant differences for each CVAT variable.
