To The Daily Sun,With the election Pope Leo IV, maybe the United States has a chance to reflect on its myth of American Exceptionalism. Pope Francis was from Argentina, and the first Pope elected from the Americas. Pope Leo was born in the United States, making him the first pope born in the United States. Pope Leo is the second American pope. Leonard CampbellMeredith

To The Daily Sun,Let's talk money. A writer recently said United States taxpayers cannot afford $36 trillion in federal debt. I agree, but for fundamentally different reasons. To The Daily Sun,This is my third and final rebuttal to Vickie Ross’ position on immigration. For the record, the statistics I cited in my previous letter are not, in fact, statistics “withheld from Customs and Border Protection”. This information is a matter of public record, available to anyone at any time. Assuming anything less is nothing short of conspiratorial. In my opinion, “all” crimes committed are an unnecessary burden on American society and its criminal justice system.
