CHICAGO, April 9 (Reuters) — U.S. soybean futures soared by 2% on Wednesday while corn and wheat closed higher, rallying along with crude oil and equity markets after U.S. President Donald Trump said he would pause the tariff increases he announced last week for most countries, even as he raised them on China. On the Chicago Board of Trade, May soybeans settled up 20 cents at $10.12-3/4 per bushel.

Oklahoma saw an improvement in its wheat crop condition due to recent rainfall. The USDA will resume regular weekly crop progress reports on April 7. (REUTERS) — The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service in a weekly crop report this week rated 46% of Oklahoma's winter wheat crop as "good to excellent," an improvement from 35% last week, following much-needed rains in the state.

March 10 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service in a weekly crop report on Monday rated 52% of the winter wheat in top producer Kansas in “good to excellent” condition, down from 54% the previous week. For Texas, the No. 2 winter wheat state by planted area, the USDA rated 28% of the crop as “good to excellent”, down from 34% a week earlier.
