The recently published Reading the Signals report written and sent to the United Kingdom's, (UK) Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and to the Chief Executive of the NHS (National Health Service) by Dr Bill Kirkup (2022) (a retired UK medical doctor specialising in obstetrics) describes the suboptimal maternity care and resulting significant physical and emotional harm delivered at two Kent hospitals between 2009 and 2020 in England, UK.
