    Our KSEN/K96--Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week turned in State Champion performances in Tennis and Track and Field last weekend.       Male Athlete of the Week honors go to Cut Bank senior Dallas Berkram who ended his H.S. career with a State Championship in Tennis after suffering thru an otherwise disappointing senior year which saw him break a bone in his foot to end his football season and a torn meniscus that ended his basketball season.

    Competition was arguably as stiff as it's been all year for our KSEN/K96--Bozeman Trophy athlete of the Week award.       We had several quality nominations this week, especially for the girls, following Divisional Track & Tennis and State Golf. But after looking at all the data, the nod goes to Shelby So. Track star Regan Torgerson who has become a top sprinter in all of Class B and is knocking on the door of the best in all classes in the State.

    Local Athlete's gave us tough decisions to make for the KSEN/K96--Bozeman Trophy Athlete of the Week awards.  Track & Field Athlete's especially are still out there winning multiple events and breaking records, with more to come.       Our Female Athlete of the Week has never won this award but has been nominated several times in Basketball.  Cut Bank Jr. Jaycee Luse, had a big day last week at the 1B District Track meet where she led her Cut Bank team to a 3rd place finish overall.

    Spring Sports are headed into the Tournament Zone and our KSEN/K96--Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week are zoning in on their best efforts.       Female Athlete of the Week honors go to our first Tennis player of season. Cut Bank Coach Leah Gregg says Jr. Kaidence Schmidt "played the best tennis of her High School career," at the Libby Invitational last weekend.

    Our KSEN/K96-Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week broke school records and stamped their entry into the State Track & Field meet later this spring. For the second time in 3 weeks, our female athlete of the week is Shelby sophomore Regan Torgerson. In the words of Head Couch Brennan Hayes, Regan “had another phenomenal day” at the Seeley Swan meet in Missoula. Just getting a victory at this meet is a big accomplishment, but Regan did it in style with a wind in the 100m and 200m.
