Traffic was blocked on a Jefferson City street Tuesday after a Dollar General truck driver caught a low-hanging wire across a driveway on his trailer, pulling down the cables and utility poles. The incident in the 700 block of Madison Street occurred shortly after noon, forcing traffic to be re-routed and Ameren Electric being called to the scene. After the driver was able to safely exit the truck, work started to get the street re-opened and lines repaired.
